Riding plans for the summer?

I get out of school in less than two weeks, and I was planning out my summer the other day, and how I am going to work with each of our horses. I was wondering if anyone else plans out like I do, or if you guys just wing it!

I plan on working with leg cues/pressure, direct reining and bareback riding with Skips, as well as getting him to walk over a tarp(made a bet with my uncle). With Karma, I want to get her neck reining and I want to work with her head shy-ness(?). Tahoe needs some ground manners and I plan on logging some miles on him, he is such a blast to ride!

So, what are your summer plans, what are you going to work on? :)

Well, for one, I'm switching to English. Eventually, I'll be eventing, but definitely not this summer.
I'll also be moving to a new barn for lessons and they will be formal/professional lessons!
So, I'm very excited! I'm interested in what others will say!!!!!

For Enzo, we're starting eventing :)
I'm going to be taking him BN this summer - and we'll always be working very hard on our dressage. I hope to be taking him to enough shows and schoolings while we have the time :)

I plan (if all goes well in my little life ><) to ride twice a week this summer. On Saturdays, I'm going to spend half the day at the barn mucking stalls, hanging out and taking lessons; and some other day I'll be taking lessons at another barn.

I also plan to go to my first clinic this summer. :)

A ride a day keeps the worries away!

Wow, my plans seem so small and simple compared to everyone else!

Good luck with your plans, I hope everyone is able to do what they want! :)

This summer? Most likely, the same things I've been doing except maybe having time to ride more often

Basically, mucking out/feeding at the barn twice a week, a lesson once a week, and other than that... riding whenever I get the chance. Which, lately, has not been so often
I'll also be working with my trainer on getting Romeo sold (or at least on the market). Anyone looking for a horse, lol?

Just having time to go out and ride regularly. :) More specifically, I'd like to get Navigator giving to the bit and carrying himself properly, as well as doing a little more jumping.

I'm also considering taking lessons again, if I can find a teacher.

This summer I plan on taking western riding lessons again.
I haven't been on, or around, horses in two years due to my parents financial problems as well as some confidence issues that were damaged by some very old riding accidents.
Thankfully, I just started working at my very first job so I will now have more than enough money to pay for the monthly lesson fees.

Summer plans include starting my youngster under saddle, riding more complex courses and gymnastics with my mare, getting a few horses in for training. And one that has absolutely nothing to do with riding but very exciting for me.. will graduate from college after 2 and a half years and have a ton more time for riding
