Love it! I need to work on ours, so far the only upgrade was a bedding set from Walmart on Black Friday which is a vast improvement from our "unzipped sleeping bags used as blankets"!

LOL Unzipped sleeping bags get the job done though!

I found a FB group, Horse Trailer Conversions II through an old thread here at HF. They have some great ideas, lots of pictures from people who have BTDT. I've enjoyed reading through, asking questions, etc. Some folks are taking older trailers and making mobile massage rooms, personal campers (No horses, just campers) and all sorts of things with them. Very cool group to investigate.

I love what people are doing with their trailers - lots of cues from the tiny home trend are getting incorporated into redos, lots of RV 'stuff' being repurposed to convert dressing rooms like mine into true LQ. It's just cool.

I love that group! People are so creative! I need to figure out if I can paint the wallpaper or how to fix it, there must have been a window seal leak in the past because there's water stains in the corners (we've never had any water though so I assume it was fixed long ago). I want to do one of those cool back-splashes that people have too! We have a bench at the foot of the bed (that holds the water tank) that I need to figure out a cover for and we need window coverings. I should measure the windows tonight, I've been meaning to buy the curtains for a year I just never remember!

Also. I think I've found my replacement for the cheap little wall pockets - I do need a few, I like that there are some by the door, very handy, but ugly and getting uglier as the cardboard in them starts to sag. I love these, don't want to pay this, but... I may break down and buy them if i can't find similar for less at Hobby Lobby.

Have a set of these switch plate covers on the way.

And this is in my mailbox now. Just got the notice on mah phone: Sailor Jerry Cowgirl Pillow Cover.

I just love Sailor Jerry's vintage tatoo art, and I love the vintage pin up cowgirl art too, so I think this gets both covered. I keep all my old patio cushion backs... pull the fluff out, use for throw pillows around the pool and on the patio. I have the fluff to stuff it. LOL

Someone posted a Hula Hoop Cowboy Shower the other day, with a battery operated shower pump and a smallish black water tub for the catch basin. Supply 'tank' is a 5 gal bucket and to get a warm shower, she boils water on the Coleman stove. Very cool idea!

Someone else had a sprayer, like the kind you put roundup in? And had swapped the hose for a handheld shower hose/shower head. Someone else on there paints water jugs black, leaves them in the sun to warm the water... I'm thinking... paint your spray rig black, leave THAT in the sun to warm throughout the day.

But yeah, there's a wide variety of DIY levels there, some better than others, but I love the ingenuity some people show. So neat!

On the wallpaper... maybe. If it's stuck good and just stained, I'd try to Kilz it first, then paint it.

I saw that battery operated shower too! We have a cowboy shower built in our first stall and an Amazon port-a-potty making it our bathroom. I need to figure out a way to contain the water better (maybe kiddie pool?) when we use the shower though because otherwise you have to brush all the shavings out and make sure there's nothing on the floor of the tack area. HMMMMM!

Yeah, one of those $8 kiddie pools would work. The shower curtain hanging from the hula hoop was pretty cool, but if you have a cowboy shower already? I'd think just a kiddie pool. But then you're going to have to drag it out to dump it too. Ugh.

See, I just broke down and got a hiker's shower - the black 3 gallon bag you hang in the sun with a sprayer on it, and a pop up privacy cabana. I could probably use just the shower in the horse box, but with the cabana, I can set it up outside the trailer and use it outside. We'll find out tomorrow...

Thankfully there's an escape door on that stall so I just have to shove it to the side a little!

Have fun this weekend!
