YAY! Also bucket question...

Order of go is posted for Justus' first show this season!!! This Saturday and Sunday is going to be exciting and exhausting...we entered Hunter up to 2'3, WP, Trail, W/T, Training and First level Dressage, Jumpers up to 2'3 and a couple little fun classes!

Question: What do you pack in your carry bucket? Cloth? Spray? Brushes? What are some necessities?! Thanks!!!

It varies from show to show, but I always carry:

Brush (horse), Brush (tail), Hoof pick, Tape, Fly spray, A few rags, Lipstick, spare bobby pins, Scissors.

We do hooves, legs and faces at the stalls and don't generally lug all that around. Corn starch for white legs and baby oil for face highlighter!

I knew I forgot something! Razors. They get the heavy clipping at home but do the muzzles that day so they're fresh.. I don't own lipstick either, we have a community grab one in the bucket that we pass around in the warmup at the shows LOL. Real sanitary bunch we are!

Your horse's name is the same as my son's!!! Good luck & have fun, sorry, I can't really help you out much, I carry all my show stuff in the trailer tackroom & I am afraid it's overkill, I have everything you could think of or need.

Please make sure you have hair ties and safety pins! I always lose mine. :/ Fly spray, sugary treats(I'm told sugar helps salvation which increases response in the mouth), hoof pick, bobby pins, extra pair of gloves, sunscreen, water, show sheen and a soft brush.
