Anyone ever had problems with Wintec Cair panels?...........

I am looking at purchasing a Wintec with the Cair panels (instead of just flocked panels, they add air filled cusions as well). I had one saddle repair guy tell me to stay away from them because if they lose air they are unserviceable by anybody except the company. I haven't heard anything bad about them other than that and I can't imagine that if there was a big maintenance issue with them that they would have stayed in production for this long. I do have a Wintec Isabell that I just love and it is a pre-Cair panel model, so I have nothing to go on except what I hear from others who have experience with them.........Please, any comments, good or bad will help me make my decision. Thanks in advance!

Hi- I think I read a review once about avoiding the care panels but that was the only time. I am probably going to get a Wintec 2000 but I was going to try to find a pre-cair used saddle for that reason. www.horsetackreview.com has some good reviews on it- I saw a few that were very favorable including this one:

Wintec
2000 All Purpose saddle with CAIR
All Purpose Saddles

Manufacturer: Wintec
Model: 2000 All Purpose saddle with CAIR
Category: All Purpose Saddles

Purchase: I bought this saddle at our local feed store for $450 because I absolutely loved the build of this saddle.

Likes: This saddle is amazing in the fact that I can change out the gullet to fit many horses, because I ride several in a week. I love how this all purpose saddle is more conformed to be used for jumping or dressage, unlike the other cheaper models. The equisuede makes it easier in my fast-paced life to keep it clean also.

Dislikes: The only thing I really do not like is that the saddle does not look professional enough to show in.

Quality: The saddle is well put together with an interchangeable gullet system, CAIR panels that Do Not break down (compared to what other people have said), and a great warranty. I lost one of the screws that holds the gullet into the saddle, and the people of Wintec were so nice and sent me a couple, in case I ever lost anymore.

Summary: I absolutely love this saddle and will advise anyone that is thinking of purchasing a synthetic saddle, to definitely go for this one.
