A Facebook friend from NC recently shared something about them - looks interesting.
DH & I are both needing new helmets this year so if I can find a local store that's selling them I'd like to try one on

Nice tight chinstrap in the promo pics!

Someone should tell the manufacturer they ought to change their photographer.

LOL I think you should email them and give them feedback. Would love to see their response on that one.

IKR? My thoughts exactly

What's the point of a Back on Track helmet, exactly? The products are supposed to have "ceramic fibers" that provide therapeutic infrared heat (and I'm extremely skeptical of that claim) to help with injuries and inflammation. What purpose is that supposed to serve to a rider's head?

Just did some digging.

"So what is this MIPS technology exactly? It was developed in collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology and the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm. Accident statistics show that the most common accidents caused by angled bumps on the head, so it will cause a rotational force on the brain. MIPS provides extra protection in the event of a slanted impact in the event of a fall."

Now, that actually sounds interesting. But doesn't seem to have anything to do with Back On Track specifically. Maybe it's just a branding thing?

Edit: More on MIPS here. http://mipsprotection.com/technology/

I'd be more interested in thinline manufacturing a helmet line. I feel like their product is better suited to the needs.

...and thats my thought exactly. All helmets go through the same safety testing, at least the main ones, so I feel like they are just using the brand to sell another horse related accessory?
