I'm really sorry if I post a bridle twice- I'm kind of posting whichever ones I like and am looking at ATM...
Beval Stamford Square Raised Bridle - Bridles & Bits from Equus Now!
Ovation Fancy Stitched Padded Bridle - Bridles & Bits from Equus Now!

Again, I would be willing to spend an extra $20.00 as long as the bridle is high-quality.
Nunn Finer Hampton Fancy Stitched Bridle - Bridles & Bits from Equus Now!
By the way, I'm sorry for posting like five times in a row!

Read some more comments, and unfortunately there are no tack shops- that I know of- near me that carry quality bridles. There is one bridle that all of the tack shops around here carry (I can't remember the name) and it's about $50.00 and not very high quality. It's either that or a $300.00 bridle, which they also carry (and which I cannot afford).

Okay, first of all: is this a good website? The fact that everything is WAY cheaper sent up a red flag for me, but it could be just because of the fact that everything is wholesale price? Even if it ends up that the website is bad, I still found some bridles on it that I could by elsewhere...
Tackwholesale.com : Quality Tack & Equestrian Supplies : Platinum Series Fancy Stitched Bridle - Paris Tack [14-PT1406EHV]

I actually heard not so good comments about Horse Tack : English and Western Tack at Wholesale Prices TackWholesale.com Never deal with them myself though.

I'd also try valleyvet.com or jeffersequine.com. Everything I got from there (including one bridle I got from jeffers while back) was really nice. And you can also contact them and ask where the bridle you like is made (stay away from those asian made ones).

Collegiate Plain Raised Bridle (Equine - Horse Tack Supplies - English Horse Tack - Bridles Combos)
or
Amigo Bridles - Bridles - English (Amigo bridle)

As for those you posted Beval and Ovation are the nice brands. I never tried the bridle, but some other stuff they make are really good.

Can you pm me the details? And if you have any pictures that would be great :). I'll see if it's what I'm looking for.
And thanks for the other websites, kitten_Val- I'm checking those out right now!

Has anyone heard of the brand Avalon? I know it's not the right size but just so you know what I'm talking about. Avalon Fancy Stitched Snaffle Bridle - Oversize - eBay (item 280417404943 end time Nov-30-09

The Avalon brand is made by Ovation (English Riding Supply). I purchased an Avalon bridle about 1.5 years ago for $150.00. Honestly, it is a middle of the road brand....it's not poor quality and it's not high end. Had it fit my new horse (he's a warmblood and the bridle was a full size...he needs oversize) I would have kept it. I gave it to a friend of mine and she really likes it.

In comparison, the Arc De Triomph bridles are superb. High quality leather and craftsmanship....however their price reflects that. I have their Napoleon dressage bridle and paid $400.00 for it, plus an extra $100.00 for the reins that I chose.

But if you're looking for a middle of the road option, the Ovation line is nice. A word of caution on the Collegiate bridles....those that I have seen locally had stitching that was out of place and not necessarily 'tight", so for any bridle that you choose just take a close look at that.

Good luck in your serach for the right one.....I love shopping for tack.

I know the price is kind of scarily cheap, but I've heard from several people that Suffolk bridles are awesome.

There are others but this one sounds like it would match your saddle.
Suffolk Plain Snaffle Bridle - Dover Saddlery.

This ones also nice but I'm not sure if it would match your saddle
Suffolk Fancy Snaffle Bridle - Dover Saddlery.
