English Saddle Brands

My friend is looking at getting a lower end englsh saddle, and is just trying out english riding. She is not sure if she will continue to ride english, and does not want to spend a fortune on a saddle. She also does not want a really crummy quality saddle that will fall apart or hurt her or the horse when used. She is looking at the following saddles in SSTack

Pinnacle Grand Selle
Premier Derby
Raleigh close contact with knee roll

Any insight you guys have on this would be helpful.

I have never heard of any of those brands. Why doesnt she go to a local tack store and test out a few second hand saddles?

Sadly, we don't have that option. We have one small feed store with mostly western saddles.

Thanks for trying...I guess she will just have to order and find out when it gets here. :) :)

She should order from a store that allows trials so if she doesn't like the feel of the saddle she can return it.

Edit: I know how it can be when you don't have a feed store. I lived in Juneau my whole life until August and I had to special order in all my saddles and other tack or buy them while I was on vacation elsewhere. Pain in the @ss!
