GR8 problems

I recently bought a new helmet, a Charles Owen GR8. I noticed that it smells really bad. I used to have a GPA that said I could clean it in the dishwasher and that totally helped. Im not sure if I can do that to any other helmets without ruining them. I have tried the Charles Owen helmet cleaner and deoderizer and it helps until I put it on my head again. Does anyone have any other deoderizing suggestions.

I would contact the seller or at the least the manufacturer. It shouldn't be your problem, you paid for a new helmet.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.

Hmm that's odd- I agree, contact the manufacturer...maybe they can send you a new one?

I have read about a lot of people having problems with stincky helmets. I have never had that issue. For it to be smelly, it means you have bacteria in there which is either due to a dirty head or dirt inside you helmet which mixes with your head. Either way you guys really need to be more careful!

I have a charles owen and I would not put in the dishwasher. Cleaning instructions came with the helmet if you have them.

I looked up the instructions for you:
