Greenhawk Quality

Hi everyone =)

Just wondering if anybody knows how good quality Greenhawk's "Saddle Packages" are.. some of the prices seem too good to be true!

H.D.R is a pretty decent brand, French I believe, could be wrong though. I tried one when looking for a saddle, pretty comfy but didn't fit the horse right.

I would stay away from the other one though, it looks cheaply made.

I've had lots of success with used saddles as long as you can try them out before you buy.

Good Luck.

HDR isn't bad, the supra is very cheaply made. Having said that, it is the ONLY saddle that I've sat in that has put my pelvis completely neutral.

hmmm...I have never gotten a saddle package but from what I have seen from others who have, the quality of those saddles was never good. They always looked quite stiff and really rough leather. I would use that $1,000 and spend it on a really nice, well known brand and get yourself a used saddle.

M2G, HDRs are not cheap by themself (not in package). :) I'd recommend to try it somewhere. When I was looking for English saddle I tried HDRs in Dover and didn't like it that much on my back. But it's all matter of taste...
