My new Dressage Saddle :)

Hey all.
Here is a few pics I took of my new saddle. It is made of buffalo hide.
Custom Saddlery
Wolfgang Solo with long thigh block
I fell in love with this saddle months and months ago. I rode in a bunch of different saddles and kept going back to this modle and company. Then I decided I would get it for my 40 th b-day present to my self.

Many things have transpired since then and I finally have it.
So excited!
These are not the greatest photos, but I wanted to get a few photos before the wind picked up any more.
What do you think?
:)

Thanks...
Yes I love the thigh roll too.
I wont ride in it for a bit until Candi is better.
But the horse I am 1/2 leasing has the same saddle just a smaller thigh roll.

The saddle really puts me in a nice position.
Seem like it is much easier for me to sit up tall and keep my shoulders open.
My leg hangs down in a nice position as well.

My birthday was last December. So I have been waiting for quite some time for it.
I like how soft it is and comfrtable...
As soon as I can ride in it I will take some pics. I suppose when the weather is better and I can ride Kimo outside I can get photos of me in the other saddle with the short roll.
Yay for new stuff....
Now I just need my girl to get better.

HP- I just upgraded myself a bit too (to a used Pessoa) and it is my late birthday present to myself too (also a december baby!!). Your saddle looks gorgeous, I love the buffalo hide personally.

Candi is going to love it, I'm sure. So glad surgery went so well for her and that the recovery is progressing so far. Silly horses just love to wrench at our hearts and scare the hell out of us once in a while huh? I swear mine knows when I have a little spare cash tucked away and decides to "help" me spend it by doing something stupid or choking or having random inexplicable nose bleeds... ARGH!
