New (Used) Longhorn

I just purchased a new used longhorn saddle. It's absolutely lovely, barely looks used, nice and tight, etc. The problem I'm having now is it's this gorgeous russet color with very unique (I don't know the proper name for the design) spot tooling, and I'd like a matching breast collar. The saddle is discontinued, and longhorn does not do custom work. I'd also like to get a matching bosal or shape ear headstall.

I only paid 150 for this beauty, and it actually fits my horse. He's a hard fit, and this is the 5th saddle I've tried on him.

Anyone know a good custom place, and does anyone have any idea the name of the design?

Congrats on the super savvy shopping!!!!

I would check with consingment shops. They would probably be your best shop at finding matchy stuff for discontinueded items. Or....( they need a thinking smiley) :) I don't think a russet breast collar would be too hard to find. -then matching your saddle pad to your bridle and hanging a matching tassel off the breast collar( if it is just plain russet with no stamping) I dunno...Thats probably the route I'd take because there are so many really good nylon bridles and they are easier to find and match a pad to. I'm getting into the fun colors. Just a thought...Good luck!

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.
