Which saddle do I get for Miss Ellie?

Ellie Mae is a 14 yr old TWH that I bought about 1 year ago. Up to now I have been using a 1962 Simco that is too small for me and way to old for and uncomfortable for either of us. I go on 3 to 5 hour trail rides in Virginia-some trails and some trail blazing. I have been looking at the Abetta endurance saddles because they look comfortable and the price is right. Do they hold up well, and how well do they fit a TWH? Friendly advice would be greatly appreciated as I am still a novice at riding and will have many more questions in the future!

Is there a place that retails them around you that would allow you to hual your horse to the store to try the saddle out?

We have two Abetta's, one is 17 YO and the other is 12 yo

Abetta now makes a Saddle specifically for the TWH

I love my abetta saddle! They are VERY comfy for long rides, and hold up really well, and are so easy to clean!!!

Thank you to all that responded on the Abetta saddle. Here is another question-summers are typically hot and humid here-do you prefer the fleece lined or the neoprene? Is the type of lining suppose to be for absorbtion of sweat or shock?

If refereeing to Choice Abetta has for Saddle Lining on some models, Fleece is my choice.

For Saddle Pads, I prefer Wool or Felt Bottoms.

We do have several pads with the open weave neoprene, just a little expensive and am not convinced they are any cooler.
