Showing in hackamore?

Can you show in a jumping hackamore? Also, does the judge frown on a black bridle with a brown saddle? I'm not sure if I can afford a different one right now : (

unless its a very local show - I say no to a jumping hackamore (unless you're jumping)

if there isn't a stark difference in the colors, it shouldn't matter for local shows (but i would be cautious of showing in a light brown saddle with a black bridle or the other way around)

I can't speak to a jumping hackamore but as for color differences, if you are just jumping, I think you can get away with it.

Jumping is one of the few disciplines that is objective rather then subjective - you cleared the jump or didn't, you rocked the rail or you didn't. Although your appearance may not be "pleasing" to a judge, you are judged on performance rather then appearance.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.
