silly question about stirrup rubbers

I just bought new rubber pads for the bottom of my stirrups because my old ones are falling apart. Taking out the old ones were easy, but putting in the new ones was really hard. I gave up because I was running on a time schedule. How do you get those rubbers in the metal??

Silly I know ... just had to ask.

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord. 'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future'" ~ Jeremiah 29:11

Yes, lots of fighting.

Also, remember that stirrups come in different sizes, and so do the rubbers - make sure you have the right size!!

Ugh, I hate when I replace mine. LOL! It's soo hard sometimes to get them in. Just keep trying, & use lots of muscle!

Ride more, worry less.
