Havana is nice. Possibly a dark havana bridle with white padding to make it really stand out.
A white dressage pad with maybe red or orange thin trim would look nice in the arena as long as the shade doesnt clash with your saddle.

What color are your hunt coat/ dressage jacket, top boots helmet and crop??

my horse kind of changes colors in the winter and spring he is black like your boy with some brown on his back but in the summer and fall he gets kinda rusty brownish black lol anyway i use purple on him with a mahogany colored saddle it probably doesnt sound like it goes very well but it does and sometimes i switch and use a little lime green on him too lol

hes a little dirty in this one and you can see on his neck where he's kinda brown this was taken last summer i dont have a picture of him with his lime green halter on or with all his tack lol

i will save you the hassle of finding tack...

...give him to me :P

dark havana, nothing paler it looks silly on a black horse. And i don't think black tack is for the showring
So, I would say a flat cavesson noseband to make him look work-man like for hunters and plaited reins since they are purty and they have grip and that is one dang nice horsie :P

eta - i would send you to peter wilkinson (makes saddles for the queen's horses) his leather is awesome! 8)

Oh, if you meant numnahs etc

then any colour :)

white is like wow! but hard to keep clean
pink & purple are a little bit girlie
blue (all shades is good 8) )
bright yellow & green are nice and zazzy
i dont like the colour red, other than at christmas but i'm sure it would look nice :P
burgundy would look nice but that may suit bays better
black looks fine on anything :)

can't think of any other colours,

i would choose maybe blue and silver or something :)

Ok, I know this will sound really silly, but my sister-in-law knows my dream horse is black and gave me pink saddle-blanket with black suede I bet it would look good. But other than that I would vote for red, blue, white (if you don't mind lots of cleaning ;) ). Purple might work too and green. Just in general lighter colors. As far as saddles go... That is something I am also wondering about. I would prefer a black saddle on a black horse, or just in general real dark. I'm just curious if that doesn't get too hot in hotter areas (Texas, AZ). If anyone knows the answer, please do tell :)
