Tex Tan IMHO is much along the line of Dakota. (at least they used to be) HOWEVER todays Tex Tans are not like yesterdays Tex Tans. I feel that the quality of the Tex Tan has suffered from mass production and cost shearing tactics. Tex Tan of yester-years were good quality saddles that held up well and lasted. Today I find that they have lost thier quality and are looking more like assembly line factory types than not. But thats just my opinioin.
I like Circle Y, showed in one for a couple of years. Nice fit, goood quality and comfortable. I just whish I hadnt gotten one with basket weave tooling over the entire thing. ****** to clean esp if showing in a dusty ring.
