He is gorgeous. I think dark green, navy blue, or red looks best on red duns. :)

Ride more, worry less.

Wow! You guys are great. I love the dark green plaid blanket. Too bad it is the most expensive. Right now he is wearing a steel grey colored one that was on clearance. Good quality, but terrible color for him. the Weatherbeater one is very affordable. think I might hold out until I can get him a plaid one though. I see that tan is a good compliment, who would have thought? I like royal blue and dark green or hunter green just as colors in general. Will be hard to pick between the two. My first horse was sold to me as a beginner's horse. I was very naive! She was a beautiful bay and I had red as her color for the few matching items I had. She was a seriously troubled horse and we ended up giving her away as a pasture pet to some people who wanted a pretty horse in their field. She seems happy in her big pasture and can run all she wants. Three trainers told me get a different horse and don't spend more money on her. The long and short of that is even though red might look good on Peppy I have too many "being bucked off" associations with that color. thanks for saying he is gorgeous. In the pre purchase the vet said he will not win any beauty contests but he is super calm. My trainer laughed when she first saw him. Of course right now he is shaggy and winter fat. Makes his legs look even shorter. Another friend called him a "dachshund/Quarter Horse"

I don't care what anybody else says I still think he's georgous! I'm glad you like the plaid blanket, it's one of my favorites too. I would have gotten it for my horse if his colors weren't navy, baby blue, and brown. If you find a color that you really like let me know if I can help you find anything in that color. Just give me a list and I'll try my hardest to find everything. I love doing that kind of stuff!

I agree with the poster above! He is one of the cutest horses I have seen in a while and he just looks like a nice guy! I'm sure it will be a great match.
