I'm going to seek professional help from a local trainer... he will be able to see her in person and really assess what I need to do. The bit slides out of her mouth constantly.
She freaks if I use spurs on her... rowls or duds.
I use a twisted wite full cheek while I ride english and it works well. But it isn't a western bit.

I would suggest to put her in a full cheek snaffle with sweet iron or copper on it or put some bit guards on it! OOORRRRR, you can put her in a mullen mouth bit! NO RUBBER! Just metal, and make sure it has a curved relieved, mouthpiece!

Do you have a chin strap on her? That will probably help keep the bit in place.
