One saddle will not fit them all, regardless of the changeable gullet system...that was my point.

First off looking at your horse it looks like he would be a good candidate for the wintecs, he appears to not have much wither and a fairly flat back. Secondly I have found that wintecs fit kind of small. I normally ride in a 17 inch but had to go up to a 17.5 and likely should have gone up to a 18 inch, but maybe thats just me.

For the CAIR, there are lots of people on either side of the fence, some people love it and some people hate it. I am indifferent, I see no difference in my horse's back with CAIR vs. normal flocking. Some people claim that the CAIR make for a bouncier ride, I personally like it because my horse has a very very smooth trot so I have to really work to post and the CAIR kind of helps me out there :p

The changable gullet really won't help anything. If you get a saddle that is around a 31" sized tree, you're going to fit almost every horse you ride pretty easily. The CAIR is iffy, I prefer flocking to it.

I will probably get the flocking because my horse's trot already bounces me to the moon ans I dont want to end up replacing "breast implants" in my saddle

I have a deeper 17" than that one and it feels and looks a lot smaller than the flatter seated one
Most AP saddles have a deaper seat. Trust me, you need a bigger saddle than an 18". You are dwarfing that 17". There's no way a 1" bigger saddle is going to work for you. Sure, I can ride an 18" at the walk/trot for a minute, but I cannot comfortably canter in an 18" (in a proper position) and I sure as heck wouldn't try jumping in one.

If you want to try a new Wintec 18" seat, then trial one or buy one from a store that will let you return it for a full refund. Take some more pictures and post them here. We'll let you know if the seat is right for you or not.

I have a 19" Stubben AP and it's "just right" for me. My husband's 18.5" (runs a tad small, measure more like an 18.25") is noticably smaller and doesn't fit me well.

I went to the tack shop and sat in a 17.5 Wintec AP and I could almost fit about 3 fingers so I think an 18 will be ok. It was comfortable even though too small. I am losing weight so I dont want to end up with a saddle too big for me.
