Opinions about the Wintec 500 All-Purpose Saddle?

I've had 4 of them over the years.

I am NOT keen on AP saddles, but as AP saddles go, the Wintec 500 is one of the better ones. The current model is more of a VSD than a true AP so bear that in mind and ride with a longer stirrup in a more dressage-y style, but they are very comfortable for trail riding and general messing about. They aren't great for jumping (which is why I sold my last one). But as a saddle for trails, flatwork and popping over the occasional small log or crossrail, they do the job and they do it quite well. They're supportive of the rider and fit my TBs well off the rack, while also fitting a range of other shapes if correctly fitted by a good saddle fitter who is familiar with them (NEVER stretch the gullet, they have easy change plates for a reason!).
