HEY! He looks like Nelson!

I cut Nelson's mane Hun - with sissors. But what I do is I cut it horizontal first, then I cut the ends vertical. That way, it doesn't look sissored, it looks pulled, just without pulling.

I love Nelson's mane that short - especially for Eventing. A) I don't have to braid B) It is out of my way *hands n reins* and C) Simple and easy care, while he still looks oober schmexy

I like it. There's nothing wrong with Denny's mane :) :)

Oh no no no... that's the "before" picture... haha it's about half the shortest length in that photo... hence the "holy sheep!" in the first post!! The more I think about it though, the more I like it...

Thank you for the compliments!! He's 8 years young ;)

I cannot wait to see the pictures. I am sure he is adorable regardless. You could buzz him bald and he'd still be sexy.

LOL i cant wait to see pics !

to cut a mane i usually flip it to the wrong side & cut a couple inches off, then flip it back & straighten it up, then flip it back & trim some more. its does not look hacked at all unless it flops over to the wrong side lol i always end up pulling it too bc my horse has a really thick mane ! i also sometimes use clippers on their manes =]

Could someone tell me how exactly you pull a mane? Remedy, my mare's mane was cut and you can tell. It's so even at not at all natural. Someone told me if I pull it it will look better.

Sorry to hijack the tread but I NEED to know...lol
