American Pharoah News

I just saw this article and wanted to share with his fans:

http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/220146/american-pharoah-to-shuttle-to-australia

I'm not thrilled by this decision, not going to lie, but I can't say I'm all that surprised since Coolmore shuttles many of their stallions.

What do you guys think about this?

Oh, and if here's a couple of his foals in case anyone hasn't gotten a chance to see them yet.

The Bloodhorse link isn't working for me, so here's another link:

In the Southern Hemisphere the stud dates are different, foals take their age from the beginning of August so covering wouldn't start until mid September when stud duties would be finished in the northern parts so, he will probably be back to cover mares as usual.
EliRose and KigerQueen like this.

I understand. I was just hoping they wouldn't shuttle him for a couple more years to give his fans more of an opportunity to try to go see him on a tour post Northern hemisphere breeding season.

Regardless, I hope he has a great stud career and remains healthy .

I'm pretty thrilled. I've always believed Pharoah could have been a truly great grass horse, he has the appropriate action and his daddy sure can sire them. He's also an outstanding outcross for Australia.

On another note, his foals look absolutely incredible and are apparently receiving Pharoah's tractable, kind temperament.

Good point, EliRose!

I love hearing wonderful things about his foals already! Hopefully a lot of them can run like him too.
