That's insane. I have a whole rant in my head about these 'animal rights' nutters and how I much prefer the term animal welfare over animal rights but I just can't bring myself to type it all out, I'm still too busy shaking my head.

What would have happened if someone had been hurt or killed. Unfortunately too many people think that's "okay" because they're "saving the poor horsies". And what if they'd knocked that plant out, what about all the people who would be losing their entire source of income? Is that okay too because they're "saving all the poor horsies"?

But then the same sort of people who did this were in the anti hunt mobs in the UK - protecting poor little foxes but had no worries about spraying our horses in the face
Where was that, the New Forest area? I forget. And then No they have no clue, they think they are making all things right, while messing up the eco system.

Their income is not important to them, they are evil and should die.

They are nuts, not sane, not rational.

They should all take 3 horses that are due to be shipped. Put up or shut up.

.

I wonder if any of those "Animal Rights Activists" have Leather Seats in their cars, a Leather Purse, Leather Shoes or Leather Belts to hold their pants up?

Absolutely they do......just like the environmentalists who protest about oil, yet don't realize the synthetic soles in their shoes or travel coffee mug they're using while they're protesting is made from petroleum products.....hypocrisy at its height.

My sis is a vegan, her hubby is too, and he's a nut about it. Only posts PETA things on FB, etc.

My sis will wear leather shoes, but it's the only leather she wears as there isn't much of an alternative. Her view is that when there are more choices, she will no longer wear leather completely.

that's not fashionable, I don't get it - I am not her.

If I could I would raise my own meat, I love my sis, but I am so not her.

Ugh. People like that are embarrassing to those of us who are vegetarian and care about animal rights but act in ways that aren't wild and dangerous.

I would imagine many of them have never even owned an animal
These people always remind me of a group I once had to escort on a hack in the UK from the riding school I worked at for a short time. We passed a sign that said "Clay Pigeon Shoot' and they all went
Ohhhhhh how cruel'

People can't think for themselves anymore. They read an article or hear someone say something and they're automatically hooked before doing any research on their own. They just grow in numbers and before you know it you have these large groups of ignorant, brainwashed followers who think they're doing good.
AlexS, Cherie and boots like this.

This is what happens when you have democrats in office
