Any free DIY horse sleezy/hood patterns out there?

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody knows or has any patterns for a horse hood or sleezy. I am not looking to spend any money on a pattern, but I am fine with buying any materials needed. A sewing pattern will work just fine. Please let me know if you have anything! I appreciate the help.

Does anybody have any tips for making one or has anybody ever tried?

Never tried and don't have a pattern. But I am crafty and they seem fairly simple to make, so long as you can measure the horse you want to make one for. Observation can tell you the rest. I'd try to make one like this:

Most of them are made in super stretchy material.
It’s so difficult to sew (usually you need a serger) stretchy knits that I wouldn’t try it.

A hood or something more solid maybe.

That maybe why you aren’t finding DIY ones. Also by the time you’ve purchased all your materials you’ll be nearly at the same price as buying one.

Good luck in your search if you truly want the experience, I wish you much patience working with the stretch!
