I have two mares, so I haven't had to deal much with happy boys. BUT, when my mare goes into heat, REAL heat, she develops a rather large crush on me. If I try to tough her hindquarters, walk behind her, or even LOOK like I'm going to touch them or walk by, she squats down and starts squirting. For freaking chrissakes, Ricci! Haha. It is embarrassing, but hey, it only happens once a year, not during every grooming session. =]

I dont find it offencive, its a natural thing that male horses do. And if they are happy I am happy! I love my boys!
And I have never really had a problem explaining that the horse is a BOY... whats to be ashamed of?

well they can hang it out all they want the other 23hrs of the day, not during their work time.

My draft does it when I let him out to graze. He just gets so relaxed. Haha!

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail...
