Anyone live in KY?

So I was looking at moving to NC, and after doing some research I have expanded my search into KY as well. I currently work at a hospital so I would like to stay as close to one as possible. I'm just having a bit of trouble finding a boarding barn that won't cost me an entire paycheck every month. Any recommendations for KY?

I live in Louisville. We have several nice hospitals for you to choose from and some nice boarding barns in the area as well that don't seem all that expensive. I think full care boarding can be anywhere from $300-400/month. Lexington is a nice choice to, but I'm not too familiar with Lexington.

What is your budget, and are you looking for full care, partial, self? Lessons? Training? Western? English? Mixed?

I am in the Lexington area, and we have some great hospitals. That is not counting all of the smaller hospitals in other areas. There are some nice boarding options. I can get you some links when I am not at work.

Hi! I ride English, but if no one else minds I don't mind what kind of barn I'm at. I do a lot of trail riding, but wouldn't mind getting into a ring occasionally. Also, I like doing barn work, so I also wouldn't mind being at a barn that I'm responsible for taking care of my horse. I just can't afford the places that are 4-500 a month. I did some research on the Lexington area. I would like to do some on the Louisville area, but I like what I see so far.
Thanks for the help so far
