Red face Because I can't post on the DUMBEST HORSE ADS thread

Well...I can't post on Horse Talk threads that aren't mine cos I'm not 15 yet but I just found an ad with a pic that made me go

See for yourself. Sorry, the writing is a bit small to read, but just look at the pic...
http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4481a66d.jpg
Hope the link worked.

Ya...the picture explains it all.....they call it ....JUMPING POTENTIAL! I'd call it:
NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTROL THE HORSE!
And why on EARTH would they post a picture of their poor horse scrambling over the fence. I would leave the camera and get that horse off there!!!!!
And just because it can jump prettily and high while trying to get back to its mother, doesn't mean it will do the same under saddle! Some horses do...but some ....don't. It just irks me that people actually think that potential buyers would be impressed by a picture like that! Cute horse...bad picture. Very bad.

By the way...I LOVE browsing through the dumbest horse for sale ads thread! But some ads just really unsettle me.

What I think is dumb is that they stopped to take a picture of the poor horse, when they should have been helping him. I'm really hoping the person's camera was already on them and they didn't run back to wherever to grab the camera like "oh hang on my camera's in the house, hope he's still hanging out on the fence when I get back!"

beverleyy: oh god, if they did that....take the camera out after seeing the poor thing like that....agh..

They also said in the ad: "after we untied him, he jumped straight over, without touching the rail..." poor horse. Just because it wants to see its mother (like they also said in the ad) doesn't mean it has huge jumping potential

I'm shocked for the title they didn't put, "Grand Prix Prospect." Lol

But still...Pretty stupid/sad to take a picture when your is in trouble like that.

I am sure you have never had any problems with a horse or made any mistakes, right?

I'm sure everyone has made a mistake or two, but most of us wouldn't post a picture of such a huge one on a classified ad and brag about it.
