Bourbon rolled with me on his back!

I was messing around just playing with Bourbon and riding him bareback and bridleless today. We were standing in a sandy spot talking to my husband, when Bourbon dropped down to roll. I was shocked. I've never had a horse do this with me on his back before! I let him get to the ground and hopped off, and he had a good roll. Silly horse. I know it's a bad habit that I shouldn't encourage and I should have kicked him forward when he started sniffing, but I was just caught so off guard.

Has your horse ever tried to roll with you on their back?

Heheh... Yup. In my good saddle, to! I guess we had just stood there too long, and she was getting tired of it!:p

Yup, how about in a pond/LARGE puddle! But she didn't succeed. I was on to her and got her out of it. I only got a little bit wet!

Our other mare tried to roll with MDH once. He didn't notice (novice) and I yelled at him to "GET HER HEAD UP" and he got her in time.
