Ugh, colic is my worst fear! My gelding was coughing really bad today and it made me worried sick. The BO is certain it was just the last bale of hay being dusty (truck comes tomorrow with fresh hay) and is nothing to be concerned about.

I always keep a bottle of pure peppermint oil, so I'm going to dose him tomorrow, just in case. He loves peppermint, so it's like a treat to him. And for reference peppermint oil is good as a colic prevention, colic treatment and for colds/coughs. It also has several other uses. I love this stuff!

Oh, and loud jingles for your sweet boy.

Was so busy I didn't phone yesterday.. But no news is good news! Hopefully he is home today or tomorrow. Once my trainer has finished lessons I will give her a call :)

Thank you all again for your jingles and thoughts!

Bing sat three hours away makes you feel extra useless!

He will be having the crud spoiled out of him, you can trust me! Going to see him end of this month and will take lots of pictures for you all

Was for me too.

I have been so lucky, I have never had a colic before. Poor Dobs, bet he is feeling tres sorry for himself! Asked the owner of his field buddy (Menno the Friesian missed him loads!) and they had a good play in the field yesterday
