Cheltenham anyone??

I'm guessin the people watchin is going to be few and far between, and I'll be relying on the Brits and Irish - but anybody else already stuck into Cheltenham??

This is by far my favourite telly week of the year! Horses, horses and more horses every afternoon this week :) The Channel 4 coverage is fantastic, compared to RTE. The pre race build up is superb, the coverage on the runners and their owners great and they dont spend half as much time on fashion (c'mon, I dont care what so-and-so is wearin, wheres the horses?) as RTE.

At the moment there is a parade, going now for about 30 min of ex-racers including Denman and Comply Or Die to promote the re-training of OTTBs - riders are kitted out in hunting gear, dressage and cross country. Also have two side by side for horseball

Stop for a minute, open your mind, learn. You may not agree with what I say, I may not agree with what you say but we will both learn something new.

I haz a sad we don't get such tv coverage of the festival here in the US. I suspect I could find it somewhere on-line but cannot be caught watching the racing during work. LOL

My riding buddy was very excited about watching it , but racing doesn't do anything for me.
