Question Costume Class Help ASAP!

I put a thread like this on last year but I only got about 2 replys, so I am hoping for more :) This is kind of last minute but I have a costume class for my horse show on Sunday and I need some Ideas. In the past years I have been a hula dancer and a crayon (and I would like to do something different) . I thought about me being Aladdin and the horse being the magic carpet.I need something that won't be to expensive or take to long to do. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks so much!

I was just chatting with a friend of mine about our own dressing up and she had a great idea to make her horse look like a flower and she would be a bumble bee.

Hmm...you could do a skeleton horse and rider (maybe headless horse person?). If you get paint that's safe for the horse you could paint the bones on him/her and then make your own appropriate looking costume.

Some I've seen and done:

You - little red riding hood
Horse - wolf

You - cat/mouse
Horse - opposite cat/mouse

You - Pirate
Horse - pirate ship

This year, my daughter is the goddess Athena and her horse is a giant owl. ;)
