Costume ideas!

I have an endurance ride coming up in oct and they have a costume contest! We have pink and pink zebra tack (so obviously my horse and I are girls haha) What would be a good idea to go as that's unique? Both me and the horse will have to ride in it. So I'm thinking painting the horse and an easy costume for me. We have 50 miles to do! I thought doing a my little pony and painting the horse pink but what would I wear? And a unicorn and fairy seems too common...
If you have pics that will help!

Some girls never out grow the "I love horses" phase.....

My little pony's a cut theme. You could put some stars on her on butt. You could also go as Canadian Mountie

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.

Go as Death. He rides a pale horse and grey is pale!

You could do dark circles around the horse's eyes like it was a skull, even smudge some "bones" along her body to make her look like a skeleton. You could wear a black body suit painted like a skeleton in white, with some rags here and there to look like a tattered shroud.

Bridle and reins could also be partially wrapped in the "shroud" material. Paint RIP on her butt.

I'm trying to think of something here you can actually ride 50 miles in

Sometimes I wrestle with my demons. Sometimes we just snuggle.

If you do My Little Pony, paint her up as Rainbow Dash, she's got a multi coloured mane and tail, but is a pale blue colour, not far from grey :) . You could rainbow stripe your hair too and maybe a pale blue shirt? Sounds like fun whatever you decide.
