That ad is a prank, it's been posted all over the country :)

We grow too soon old, and too late smart.

Tell you what would be funny... If there was a SOLD stamp across the add now! I would die laughing!

I was wondering if it had been posted anywhere else too because I noticed that in the location area all it said was "USA". I was hoping everyone would get a kick out of it like I did. I giggled the whole way through reading it but in the back of my mind I'm thinking "gosh I hope someone isn't this crazy..." Lol

Cute 7yo gelding $3500
Very Cute 7 yr old gelding,, Only bucks when you want to get on him, but not very hard of a buck. He will try and bite you when you saddle him, but he just wants a treat. Dose not take a bit very well, because he dose not like his ears touch. He will let you pick up his feet, but he pulls them right back and stomps them down! Watch your toes. He dose not like to leave the barn unless he has a buddy with him, you can have some one ride with you then he will go good, but not to close behind you or he will kick them. If he see's sometime he dose not like he will rear, but he is only 15 hds so he dose not rear very high. He is Ok with Vet, but has bit the Vet once, he did not mean it he was getting a shot. He will jump right into a trailer but will kick at the walls if you don't get going right away. He would make a good jumping horse , I have seen him jump over our gate.He is a bit hard to catch but if you have grain in a bucket and corner him .. he is good when you get a halter on him. He has been a lot of places mainly running lose on his own he is hard to keep in a fence. He is a easy keeper and very healthy. just don't feed him much hay , he dose cough a bit if he isn't on grass. $3500 FIRM

This is probably not a joke. I dont know if we still have it, but somewhere on the forum there is a thread with the funniest craiglist ads, for the same reason you posted yours. Its a good read.

^ they discontinued that thread as the moderators find it as bashing other people without their say.

True. But, in this case the discussion is more whether or not this IS a joke post, and most of us are certain it is. There seems to be more appreciation for the skill of the author than mockery of their ignorance (which is what the ban on such posting is all about).

That ad reminds me of a photo I saw. I can't find it but it was something like this labeled as Jumper prospect:
