Day break and Sundown

I really dislike it when the days get shorter. I time my girl's three daily meals by sun up and sundown until the days get "to short" to do that. I have gotten "caught" in the dark the last two evenings after dinner time feeding. By the time they finished I had to throw on the flood lights to put them back. It happens every year, I know, I don't look forward to feeding in the dark, just the same.

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.

I'm with you! I know it's only August, but it's already getting darker earlier, too early. My non-horse friends don't understand.

I'm just starting to enjoy longer days here down under. But then it reminds you that summers coming and it will be too hot to do much of anything most of the day :( Still a couple of good months left , just have to use them wisely.

Ah, that is the solution Vicki...just get a "winter/summer" home in Australia, and vice-versa!

Missy May as much as I dislike winter I have thought of doing just that.
Even though we only get less than 30 days of cold weather if that where I live in Texas it is too much for me. Shalom

Well, I seem to always think winter is a nice season when it is 100F outside - in the shade. When it actually gets here, I am not so amused. If only I had a nice big indoor arena w perfect lighting and temp control!
