I perfer to ride with someone most of the time. Me and my friend ride together a lot and even though my horse can be a brat when another horse is in the arena with us, he needs to learn how to behave with more than one horse in the arena. When I'm schooling for a dressage test, I like to be by myself with my friend there to tell me when I mess up and I do the same for her. But when we ride in the arena together, we usually do a few dressage moves and just do random stuff on our horses, and then we usually go on a little trail ride for a cool down.

To see the wind's power, the rain's cleansing, and the sun's radiant life, one need only to look at the horse.

Depends who the other person is and my mood that day.

All I pay my psychiatrist is cost of feed and hay, and he'll listen to me any day!

I love to ride with SOME people, some are jsut a pain. I dont usually talk when im riding, because everytime i get on myhorse, im schooling them. so i dont want to lose my focus. but when im just walking or onthe trail i like riding with most people. some are just a pain though!!! we always laugh when were in the arena and we both have to stop because we almost hit eachother. haha xD

but i love riding the trail alone, because im usually more outgoing then any of my riding friends... ansd i dont like to talk on the trail usually.

If there are no horses in heaven... im not going.

As far as trail goes, I totally understand. Sometimes I'm in the mood to go with someone & talk, but most of the time I like to go on my own. Especially in winter. But in winter I really don't have a choice, as no one else likes to go on trails in winter. :( It's mega fun though, you just have to be smart about it! [Although, admittedly and as the title proves, I'm not always so smart. :) Usually I'm rather safe though.]

When I'm out on the trail, it doesn't bother me.
When I'm in the arena, I like being by myself because I can concentrate. But, I also like having someone around (preferably on the ground) to offer guidance incase I'm doing something wrong and I don't realise.

He knows when you're happy,
He knows when you're sad,

And he always knows when you have carrots.

I absolutely love riding with people - most of the time.

I rode alone, alot - for a few years I rode by myself, and it gets quite lonely.

Lonelllyy...oh so loneeelllyyy...

It is quite nice to be at a very large, active barn where I can show up at any given time, and be around people. It is quite nice. Even when I am riding "alone" I am not, because the 3 arena's always have other riders.

^ Haha, oh wow, MIEventer. I get what you mean though. I generally can't go too long without riding in a group- helps that I have group lessons once a week though! ;)
