I'd expect to pay that price for him out here on the Prairies, if he is all that they say. I'd go see and try him out for sure.

I think he's pretty cute. That price is about average here for that type of horse so I don't think it's a bad deal. My only concern is that barrel racers and gamers can tend to be very go-e so I would check to make sure he's not going to be a hot head or a run away.

Good luck!

Generally speaking everything is more expensive in Canada .

OP he looks like a nice horse, please let us know when you're going to go see him. I agree with the other poster about games horses being a bit hyper but the owner says he's a good horse to learn walk/trot on so he may be an exception.

Good luck!

The price is pretty cheap, especially if he was in my area. A well trained horse here tends to go for 5K+. He sounds really good on paper, but go check him out first, and take someone who truly knows what they are doing.

If I were looking for a western horse and I were local, that would be a horse I would go and see.

Can't restate this enough. I'd also have them trailer him to another location, a park or some such and observe him in a strange place by himself-is he a sweaty mess or just curious. Sometimes the only way to truly judge if a horse is level headed is to see him out of his normal "comfort zone" if that makes sense.

If I were as close as you, I would go here to get a horse. I hear great things about them......and it may even work for the OP. I know I will look at a seasonal lease if I ever find myself without a horse again. I am too old to ride in the winter anyway.

The OP is banned. Seems like every thread I get on here lately and read the OP is banned the next time I go to read.
