Unhappy Down and out for over a week!!

Ugh!
So frustrated!!

On Halloween I started my new full time job training to become a gymnastics coach....with it being fall, back to school and Halloween....all the kids cameo hacking up a lung or both, snot running down their faces like a waterfall, and just not with it...either too hyped up on sugar or needed a boost of the Halloween candy haha

Even with washing my hands and using sanitizer after every class and drinking plenty of water and extra vitamins....they gave it to me....I have so far been able to work through it for about a week...

So between feeling so sick in the mornings that I have decided to just stay in bed or lay low, with hot steamy washcloths on my face, and sleeping in tonight this crud off ....and getting off of work at 8-830 and not catching the ferry home until 920 or 955pm I have not had time or energy to ride Oliver....

That's not all...
The clinic I was scheduled to ride in on the 16th....canceled two days ago....

So if you happen to stumble across my motivation to ride....send it my way again please..it's not anywhere near me right now....ugh

The kids at work at least distract me throughout the day so I am not wallowing in my grossness of a green snotty nose and and hacking up both my lungs...

I think I'm a done venting....I need to go lay down now before my hot shower to hopefully clean out my sinuses before driving to work...

Sending you healing vibes......and empathy because where you are just sucks. Sounds like you're doing everything you can to get on top of it, but sometimes it just has to run it's course. Take care.

I know this is going to taste nasty but I'll give you the remedy mom would have made you drink. Drink it first and kill me later. :)

Ingredients:
Fresh Lime
Fresh Lemon
Honey

Take a whole lemon and chop it in half, do the same with the lime.
Take one half of each the lemon and lime and squeeze over a cup.
Add 2-3 tsps honey.

Slam that shhhht, make your funny faces, and chase with water.
(No, seriously, put it in a shot glass if you have one and slam it.)

Put yourself on a regimen and take the concoction twice a day. It tastes nasty but it really does help you beat the colds. Drink tea, eat lots of chicken soup! You might consider sending a newsletter home with the kids that explains that you don't want sick children around, getting anyone else sick. I can't believe that kids are sent out in the world sick.. I wasn't allowed to even leave my bedroom when I was contagious, let alone go to school to spread my germs. Nowadays kids are sent to school with pink eye and strep. -.-

I hope you feel better and if you drink the concoction, let me know if it helps you. Everyone mom assigns it to says it helped them, so I'm curious to know! I hope you feel better.

(And when you ride next, it will be the most amazingly amazing ride because your horse will be perfect. ;)
