Ever had anything weird stolen?

A friend of mine had her horse rugs stolen today, right off they're backs!
It really surprised me actually, I cant believe people would do that.
Im lucky ive never had anything stolen, not even at shows or anything. We left a feed bin behind once, so I guess someone got a freebie there

So has anyone had anything strange stolen? Or anything at all lol

Buckets and baling twine strangely enough. I was at my local ag show left my ponies stall for maybe 10 minutes at the most, came back and all of my baling twine (which was quite a lot) was gone, and 2 buckets.

I think sometimes stuff that we think was stolen was really misplaced or picked up by someone thinking it was theirs by accident (like the baling time, some one probably thought it was their mess).

Could the rugs have been taken off by someone who was trying to "help" because they thought the horses were over heating?

One year I went to 10 horse shows and I had a dandy brush stolen from me at every one. After the 5th, I went to my local feed store and they let me buy 4 get one free hahaha. And they all got stolen too!

The bases for our poles. Someone hopped the fence and took them off the poles - stacked on the side of our outdoor arena. It was certainly planned out.

Fortunately we had made our own so it wasn't a matter of being out a ton of money - more the inconvenience.

My dressage whip.

Why they stole an old dressage whip, I don't know. It's not like they're extremely expensive or anything. I bought a new one a few weeks later.

My horse once stole my chocolate bar. I was too scared he was going to die to be angry. It turns out chocolate doesn't really kill horses like its meant to kill dogs. He used to always eat my oranges too.

I've lost/people have stole like hundreds of hoof picks. Don't know where they all go. Lead ropes too.

Nope, hoof picks don't get stolen, they run away. No matter how many you think you have, you'll never be able to find one when you really need one.

I've always imagined a vast prairie, filled with all those herds of wild hoof picks that have run away.

They're sharing the prairie with all those socks that have gone missing over the years.....
