It's gone underground, but if they win THIS fight it will again rear it's ugly head.
Doesn't sound too bad re: horses. But, this would mean that every chicken owner would have to keep track of every baby chick and report to a USDA employee, every pig owner, every sheep and goat owner, every rabbit owner..you understand.
More government intrusion, more money stolen from Americans. Thank you King John..Oh, I mean, President Obama.
Ridiculous

The thin I have always wondered is what are they rendering the horses into? With all the drugs and everything put into horses it's not safe for people to eat so are they turned I to dog food or something?

Mostly fertilizer
This doesn't surprise me at all, these Animal Rights groups are pretty much universal. The Abbatoir in the UK that was in the middle of the bute and horsemeat in lasagnes etc has been closed down after years of service. There was some recent inappropriate behavior there in the treatment to some horses but the offenders were fired and it was agreed that all carcasses would be tested for bute before leaving the premises but its still been told to stop work - though officials are stating that its because the facility no longer meets required standards.
