If it was done by a person/persons then they are more likely to be the same sort of people who go on to abuse or kill children or adults.
They are sadistic sociopaths.

I don't know why, but for some reason I've been noticing this more and more on the news. I'm not sure if its just me but I've heard of these satanic practices becoming more popular (maybe because of a lot of movies are based off of this?)...Very scary.
