First horse?

So I thought it'd be cool to post a picture and post about our first horse or pony, or if you've never owned then the first one you leased or learnt to ride on!
This was my first pony Rosie. I got her when I was in 4th grade and she passed away 5 years later in 2010 when she was well past 30 years old. She was blind when she passed on but she was the sweetest little girl ever!
This is a picture of her the weekend I got her, yeah she was round haha!

Your turn! :)

I still have my first horse! I haven't got the heart to sell her! She was my Christmas present when I was 9, I'm 21 now.

I started a bit late and got my first horse just a year and a half ago. I still don't think I could have a horse better suited for me, even if sometimes I wish he were just a touch more forward.

My first horse... 1989 OTTB

This photo was taken the day before he passed away from a heart attack.

I got my first horse for my daughter and I last June, still have her. She was supposed to be 21 but is actually around 27 and has cushings, but you know what? I cant complain she is the most amazing horse ever and she's not going anywhere

My first horse was Jake. He was a lease horse and I loved him, even though he was total jerk (me being 10ish when I had him). He was a Appaloosa/Quarter Horse/Thoroughbred, around 16hh (probably more). He taught me a lot, especially about getting a horse to listen and respect you. He was very pushy, and in one showmanship class I had with him I had to be excused because he wasn't setting up and was going all over the place. I wish I had the chance to do work with him now that I'm older. He ended up passing away due to colic.

My first horse (technically my second, but we only had my crazy first horse for a month) was the beautiful but very sway-backed Marcy! She was an Appy in her 30s that patiently let me trot her blissfully all over our property. She was my first fall too. I outgrew her quickly (far too quickly) and we sold her to a family to teach more little kids. She passed a few months later.
I believe she's one of my guardian angels/spirits.

This is my first horse, my parents bought him for me when I was 13, that was about 26 years ago. He was 7 when I got him and he was the best. He was a trail riding horse and I rode him every day bare back for 3 years, then we moved and he couldn't come along.
