Have you thought about fostering for a rescue?

I've thought about it but it seems like a lot of red tape. I just need to sit back and be patient. When "the one" comes along I'll know it.

I'll keep a look out for you. I don't think a lot of people in the UP/Northern Wisconsin really do leases though. If i hear of anything that sounds good, I'll letcha know. =)

To see the wind's power, the rain's cleansing, and the sun's radiant life, one need only to look at the horse.

I know there's a lot out there free too a good home. It's rather sad really. Even what I'm looking for has been free to a good home. Just not anywhere around here, haha.

I know of some cheap of free to a good home horses in PA and NY that are looking for a light trail riding person. I could probably haul close to you if not the whole way for the cost of gas. Let me know more about what you're looking for and your riding level I might be able to help you.

There's a horse in my area I'm going to look at. If it don't work I'll be back on here, haha.

Well, the horse is not for me. He's a little too green for me. I'm only an advanced beginner. I'm looking for something big boned and big bodied. Also I just trail ride.

Yep, Iron Mountain is half an hour from me. I'm in Republic but will probably be moving to Harvey. I have a place to keep a horse either way.

I guess there are some out there but I have never found one that didn't like to be groomed and fussed over... Even the cranky ones after a short time.
