Freeze Brands on Show Horses

I was curious about the rules with freeze brands on horses used in shows. Are there any show associations that do not allow horses with freeze brands? In halter classes? Dressage? Breed classes? In the land of the hypothetical, if someone bred horses and branded all of their foals produced to mark the farm they came from, would you still be able to show even if it is technically alter the appearance of the horse? Would an unbranded horse have an advantage over a branded one?

It is just one of those things that I just have no idea of the logistics of the whole thing and am just plain curious. Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

I know that European warmbloods are branded with their breed brand. I knew an imported Holsteiner gelding who was branded with the Holsteiner brand and he was used as a show jumper. Most high level dressage horses are European warmbloods and are all breed branded, as well.

I honestly don't see why you'd be marked differently because your horse was branded or not, for any discipline.

A branded horse is not looked upon any different than others at Stock horse breed shows. If anything at higher levels a Big name brand may give them an edge...same as using catch leaders

No horse in the UK is ever deducted marks for being freeze branded. It should make no difference to a judges decision.

Thank you all! I simply wasn't sure, as not a lot of people around my area use branding, much less have a branded horse and the majority of branded horses I've seen are Mustangs. I figured it wouldn't make a huge difference, but I've never seen branded horses in huge breed shows, so I just wanted to have it clarified. Again, thank you. :)
