Galloping hooves

Horses are beautiful animals, every horse person can see that, but today I didn't know just how beautiful they were until I heard the sound of galloping hooves in the pasture. I was shoveling sand into a stall when I heard them and I looked outside in time to see Ty, Riley, Jack, and Fire running around in their pasture. I never realized just how beautiful horses were until then, now I know why people are drawn to watching mustangs in the wild (I know, I know they aren't actually wild anymore they're feral). I just couldn't look away, I was mesmerized.

But one horse that really caught my eye was Ty, the palomino Morgan Belgian cross. I knew he was cute but at that moment I noticed just how gorgeous he was when he actually moved, it looked so natural, he was beautiful.

I then realized just how much he looked like his mom, how much he reminded me of her, and I realized that I would really miss him when he left for his new home. But I know he would have never been big enough for me, even with his sire's Belgian in him. His new owner is going to be one lucky person, she's getting a great, friendly, sweet, and very willing young gelding.

I'll miss him....
