Going to look at a possible lease horse tonight! :)

(Warning: this thread is long, rambling, and doesn't have a point. )

I've been snooping craigslist, Facebook, and numerous other websites looking for a care lease horse that'd work for me....and I think I may have finally found one that may work! I'm test riding her this evening, she was advertised as great for beginners, super laid back, basically everything I need to help build up some of my confidence from the horrible rides I've been having on AJ. My plans are to use this horse for open shows and learn the ropes. She's a cute little appy....I'm bouncing off the walls! :)

However, after my last horse purchase I'm very cautious, and will definitely not be letting my heart get the best of me. We'll of a trial period and a PPE this time. I've learned my (very pricey) lesson!

I'll update this evening with how great/disastrous it went. :)

(No point to this thread I suppose, just me trying to clear my mind)

Well....it went awesome! I've never ridden such a willing, responsive horse.

We're doing another test ride this weekend, at a different arena so I can see how she acts away from home. I can't wait! :)

Here's some pictures from her ad! (Not me riding)

Her owner emailed me to set up the details of the second test ride, and really thinks that I click with her. I'm so happy!
Her only little quirks are that she can get herdbound (but I have experience with herdbound horses) and that she was originally trained to be a peanut roller so she tries to revert back to that sometimes. She's super automatic though, it's almost like she reads your mind! (I've never had the thrill of riding a well trained show horse before, can you tell )

Well the second ride went great as well! We've decided to lease her, and she comes home to my property on Tuesday!
