I am more than willing to give him a chance, however he is not doing anything to endear himself to me, so far. I am holding back, but I am not so far impressed. Wouldn't manners at least dictate that the new person in would say something about Mike? Most jobs have a hand over period, you are introduced to the new staff, you say something, anything. Mike has been a force here, he cared, he devoted his time away from his family, he had a massive sense of humor. I don't think it's asking too much for the new bot to say hi, to acknowledge Mike, that's just basic manners no?

So I will likely be the first person banned, and I will take that. I am a person of manners, I think that's important. Jorg still has the chance to say something other than 'thanks for the welcome'. I am inviting him to say more - Tiny, surely you can see this. Jorg say something..... I think this is my third time inviting him to say something.

I think we are all waiting to see how he will be, the third ask with no response might tell you all something.

I haven't been here long but in the short time I have Mike has been so helpful to me and was good at keeping me in line when I stepped a little to far. I had some great chats with him and I already miss him.

Hopefully Yung will speak up sometime soon and let us get to know him a bit.

In the mean time though I will once again say Thank you Mike for everything. You have created a fantastic community that I have come to love dearly. Please pop by to say hello when you can. Best wishes <3

I, also, and incredibly saddened by this. The forum has grown tremendously over the years I've been here, and after developing friendships with a lot of the members and spending so much time here, the barrage of advertisements and server glitches is somewhat disconcerting. Hopefully it's just a transition phase and things will begin to run smoothly soon.

To Yung, we would really appreciate it if you introduced yourself and took some time to develop friendships with us. We're a close-knit community and would like to get to know out new Admin.

I liked Mike, but most of my interaction with him came during my short time as a moderator. He's a great guy, but he also understood that being an administrator isn't the same as a moderator, nor the same as a member. It boggles my mind how much effort went into it, but most of it is behind the scenes.

The new guy could do a great job without posting publicly more than a few times a month. And he probably has enough food on his plate without worrying if we like him enough yet...

Riders ask "How?" Horsemen ask "Why?"

I read the announcement a few hours after it was posted.

It honestly, shocked me into silence. I couldn't form a coherent thought let alone type out my well wishes.

I just responded to his video thread (loved the song) as I finally could type out some words. :)
