having no luck with buying.

ok guys once again I need your help! I am looking for a nice calm trail gelding. I am looking for something older than 10 and at least 15HH. I have no preference in color or breed, but I am partial to QH.I ride western.I am finding alot of ads on the internet but some of them are just down right lies! If any of you know of one in the state of Pa. can you let me know! Thank you VERY much! Oh and I can spend up to 2500 not much but hopefully can bring a nice horse for me.

What part of Pa are you in? I've been looking for horses in pa too, so if I see anything I can let you know. Did you try pahorsemall.com? There was a few younger geldings newly listed on there, I don't think I saw any older geldings I don't know about you, but I'm having a hard time finding geldings, seems like there are a ton of mares listed though!

If you weren't so far away and didn't mind a younger mare, I have a sweet little four year old trail blazer for $700 here in Missouri

Wait! I'll fix it....

Try equine.com,they have a very thorough search engine and a LOT of adds any time I've been on there.Good luck!

But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward.

I'm having the same problems has dizzynurse. I'm starting to think that maybe I'm limiting myself to only geldings and should look at mares. I'm really just getting back into riding and don't canter so I need a beginner friendly horse. I've always thought that mares were too hormonal for my liking at times.

If finding a "marish" mare is what's holding you back from mares, they're not all like that. Sure, most are, but a LOT of them are not.
