Yes, you can find them on ebay for a pretty good price. I think I got mine for $50 total.

That price isn't so bad. At Riding Warehouse it's only $45. Although I'm not sure how much shipping is. I think I'll go with that one! If anyone has any additional thoughts or suggestions before I buy it, I'm willing to listen. :)

Seconding Tipperary yet again. I used to hate helmets and avoid using them whenever I had the chance (or so I thought), but I haven't had a helmetless ride since I bought my Tipperary Sportage! It is actually that lightweight, ventilated and comfortable that I WANT to wear it!

As long as the helmet is certified you're fine! I ride in a $30 Troxel. Last year I hit my head so hard I broke the helmet almost totally in half - NO concussion! Troxel will keep getting money from me!

Like others have said, any helmet will do as long as it is certified/fits you/isn't damaged. For me personally, I go for the more expensive ones (ie: my CO), because I find them to fit my head better, they are comfier IMO, and I feel better using it at higher levels of competition (just the look of it, really). That's just me though. There is nothing wrong with riding in something less pricey! Just make sure you get it fitted properly =)

I like this one, and it isn't super expensive. Ovation Deluxe Schooler Riding Helmet

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions, I really do appreciate it.
