That's what bothers me and he's using my horse to do it. He's 21 going on 10 and that's not someone I want to deal with and the weird thing is that side of him didn't show up until after I had driven two hours to haul the horse to my barn. After a week of Sammy being at the barn he decided he didn't want him and gave me a paper saying was turned over to me. After that I found out he was telling girls if they wanted to go on date he had a horse they could ride.
Um nooooo that's my horse that you didn't want. Luckily I haven't heard anything for him or any girls asking to ride him.

It's probably a good thing that he turned Sammy over to you because judging by his reasons for buying a horse, he probably wouldn't have done anything to take care of him.
That's good that their leaving you alone. I'd never be able to put up with them.

WHAT A JERK! I hope girls avoid him like the plague!
I hope you didnt pay alot for poor Sammy.
It's people like that idiot Kevin that are eroding the pillars of trust in our world. What a backstabber!
And I don't think you're being petty: He's a jerk. He doesn't DESERVE to have pics of any horse, especially one that belongs to you, up on his page!
I have a "friend" who I went hiking with last week--long story short, he got us lost. In the woods. At night. In the best place in the area to sight black bear. No flashlights, In shortsleeves in 30 degree weather. And he was annoying and insulting..And how HE has pics of MY dog that went hiking with us (and ultimately got us out of the woods) up on his facebook! Like she's his! Stupid Man-boy! I don't understand why guys want to take credit for something that's not theirs!

I didn't pay much for Sammy but he is worth more now considering the training I have put into him. however I couldn't let him go. He's such a sweaty with loads of potential. The girl who leases him from me loves him so he's in great care at our barn. People like Kevin make me sad and disappointed. In highschool he had great potential to be something wonderful and now he is trying to get girls by using a horse as leverage, lost his job for never showing up and I assume he's still a "weed eater" with whatever else passes under his nose. Very sad

He is being a perv, but he isnt doing anything illegal unfortunately. Think of all the false information you see on the internet every day! You in your post said "My Sister", yes you clarified it, but its still not illegal to lie on the web!

I wouldnt think too far into it. Eventually it will catch on that he does not have a horse or he will catch the clap...

Does your barn signs have the owners name and phone number? Just make sure it says you!

Yes they have me on there under owner and number. There is always someone here as well that wouldn't let anyone other than the vet or farrier touch a horse without the owner being present.

GOOD!!! And as a trainer you should have a few more eyes open than just the normal boarders. I know I am extremely protective of my trainer's lesson horses when she is away at shows and days off. Also I would tell the grooms (if you have them) to keep an eye out too.

The sucky thing is there is nothing you can do about the internet...the good thing is he is not bashing you, your horse, or your barn. All you need to do now is worry about the safety of the horse. I would sue the living pants off someone if they took my Lucy out of the stall without me knowing and something happened to her! (She is so hot, most likely something will happen to them)

We don't have any grooms but my trainer and her family live onsite and there are multiple people here during the day. Im normally at the barn from 1-9 so it's a good portion of my day. I'm hoping nothing happens and immhoping sammys big but and heels will give him a good wham if he ever were to open his stall door. When Kevin met Sammy it was a battle between the two and it almost always ended with him jumped away from a big foot. Sammy was good with everyone but him by the time he left and I think maybe Sammy knew Kevin didn't really want him.

Jeez, what an asshat! He sounds like the definition of a total perv who's desperate for action by any means, including lying about a horse.

Might I suggest Facebook to get the pictures removed? If you click on a picture, near the bottom of it is a link that says REPORT THIS PHOTO.Then click the option on the bottom of the box that pops up saying IS THIS YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY? It then goes into detail about how to report a third party's property being used and what to do about it so the photos will be removed due to copyright.

But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward.
