Talking Hey, it's been a little while...

Hey guys, hope everyone is off to a good positive note this spring! Here in WA I have had a lucky few days of good weather! We have been working super hard and decided not to have the first show for Oliver be just yet. I just wasn't feeling like we could go out with a POW if you get what I mean?

From our first bareback trail ride to really stepping up the game with 10 meters, demanding trantions right then and there, getting our canter leads, no more breaking in the poll but pushing up from behind and stretching I to the true contact he's been fabulous!

His work attitude changed so much, yesterday was so excited to work that I was a little nervous he'd betokened excited when I got on but he was all business when I put him to work

Our next big calendar event for us is another two dressage day clinic, first week in June and will be thinking about riding his first couple of dressage tests on the 9th.

Really hoping I'm not getting sick tonight, work has been more then stressful

Wanted to throw out a few pictures

Thank you, with how busy things have been I won't be surprised if it's another month till I get the time to really sit down and update lol

Work-ride-work-work... Now work 6 days a week, two smaller weekend jobs

Running around like a crazy person!

Girl, I hear ya there! I'm in school 4 days a week, work 3 of those nights, and often work the 3 days over my weekend. And now that we have finals in 2 weeks it's been super hectic squeezing in the last bit of information needed in all my classes.

I've gone weeks without checking this site recently and ended up with like 20 threads that haven't read!

The last 2 nights I've spent catching myself up on everyone else's lives on the site so I don't feel so out of the loop lol

PS: I love your pictures too!!

I have just recently come down with a Mean Old Virus! felt it coming on right around Tuesday, by Wednesday it hit bad, and then this morning I felt like death warmed over. hahaha!!! Ugh!
I too am of the work, ride, work... work.... work.... kind of schedule. But the work pays for the ride, so it's a love/hate relationship. :)
Great pics, by-the-way. Glad to hear you're not getting too rained out up there in the Great NorthWest!

Again, thank you guys!

Agreed on the love/hate work life! Seems to just be one thing after another and I may need to start looking for another job. I can't be this unhappy and stressed out if I want to have a good season with Ollie....blah!

Hopefully will be here more but if not a huge update will bro it's tail around the time Charlie gets here!
